Cook rice.
Grate fresh ginger, and set aside. Dice green onion/scallions finely and set aside. (This step is optional, if you do not have these fresh ingredients, use a ginger powder/seasoning or completely leave it out!)
In a medium pan, add your ground beef and begin cooking over medium-high heat.
Once the beef is about halfway cooked through, add in the ginger and mix to combine. Finish cooking the beef, then drain excess grease.
Return to heat, and add in the Bachan Sauce, salt and pepper and mix well until incorporated.
Serve over hot rice, sprinkling with the freshly diced green onions (optional).
