Preheat oven to 400F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment and set aside
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and self rising flour. Mix to make a dough and add 1-2 tablespoons of water depending on how dry the dough is. Mix until you get a shaggy dough.
To the dough, add the basil, chives, and cheese. Knead the dough inside the bowl until all ingredients are evenly distributed and you have a ball of dough. The dough should not be sticky, if it is too wet, add more flour, too dry add more water.
Place the dough ball on the prepared pan and shape into a disc, about 1 inch thick. Cut into 8ths, like a pie, but do not separate the pieces.
Optional -Prepare your DIY fake egg wash by combining the milk and oil, mixing in a bowl, and using a pastry brush, brush over the tops of the cut scones. You may also use heavy whipping cream or your own preferred method.
Bake 20-25 minutes until golden and internal temperature reaches 200F.
